7 recipes from raw vegetables


Did you know that vegetables can be eaten raw as well as cooked? 
The proper quality of a vegetable comes when it is eaten uncooked. Even if you can't eat all the vegetables this way, there are a few that can. Today we are going to talk about some of these vegetables that can be made raw

 

1. Dambala Sambol 

Required Materials 

  1. 8 young spikelets
  2. A little grated coconut 
  3. Red onion2 
  4. Peppercorns 2
  5. 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder
  6. A little salt powder 
  7. Lime juice

 

  • Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Put it in a separate bowl. 
  • Finely chop the red onion and green chilli pods and season with salt and pepper.
  • Put this mixture in the same bowl as before and mix well. Finally add lime juice and stir. 

 

2. Cucumber Mohito

Required Materials  

  1. 1/4 of a peeled cucumber 
  2. Juice of lime
  3. Four or five mint leaves
  4. Tablespoon of honey
  5. Teaspoons of sugar2
  6. As much soda as you need
  7. Ice cubes

 

  • Blend together the lime, cucumber, sugar, mint leaves and honey. Blend well until a smooth paste. 
  • Put ice cubes in a tall glass and pour the prepared cucumber mixture into it. Add soda until the glass is full and garnish with mint leaves, lime slices and cucumber slices. 

 

3. Kekiri Juice 

Required Materials 

  1. A ripe cucumber 
  2. Tablespoons of sugar1
  3. A little salt powder 
  4. 1/2 cup of water

 

  • Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Cut it lengthwise and remove the seeds from it. (Kekiri seeds are removed because Kekiri juice can be bitter with them)
  • Now put the curds in a blender. Add sugar and water and blend. 

 

4. Carrot salad

Required Materials
  1. Grated Carrots1
  2. Red onion3
  3. Peppercorns1
  4. A thinly sliced ​​tomato
  5. Finely chopped lettuce

To salad dressing
  1. Pepper powder
  2. Salt powder
  3. Lime juice
  4. Teaspoon of olive oil
  5. Teaspoon of sugar
  • Finely chop the red onion and green pepper. In a separate bowl, combine the red onions, green peppers, lettuce and tomatoes with the carrots. 
  • To make the durasin, beat the pepper powder, salt powder, olive oil, sugar and lime in a separate bowl with a fork.  
  • Before serving, add the prepared durasin to the carrot mixture and stir. It will bring out a different flavor than the carrot salad you eat every day.

 

5. Kohila Potato Sambol 

Required Materials 

  1. Kohila ala1
  2. Carrots1 
  3. A little curry 
  4. Red nuts2
  5. Peppercorns 2 
  6. Teaspoons of pepper powder1
  7. A bit of grated coconut
  8. A little salt powder 
  9. Lime juice 

 

  • Finely chop the kohila potatoes, put them in ice water and wash once. Finely chop the carrots, curry leaves, red onion and green pepper. Add salt, pepper and coconut. 
  • Rinse with ice water, add water squeezed kohila potatoes and lime juice and mix well. 

 

6. Cabbage Raita

Required Materials 

  1. 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
  2. Chopped onion2
  3. Peppercorns1
  4. A little salt powder 
  5. 4 tablespoons of milk

 

  • Add green chillies, onion, salt and honey and mix well.  
  • Leave it in the fridge for a while and serve. 

 

7. Radish leaf salad

Required Materials

  1. A few pork leaves 
  2. Chopped onion1
  3. 1/2 cup of chopped tomatoes
  4. A little salt powder 
  5. Teaspoons of peppermint1 
  6. Juice of lime

 

  • Cut the radish leaves into chunks. Add chopped onions and tomatoes. Then add salt and pepper and add a little lime juice and mix well.
